"Just a quick note to say they arrived Saturday morning as predicted. They’re great fun too. I went out for a 60 minute run on Sunday planning to do maybe 7 or 8 miles which turned into a half marathon I was enjoying my new Newtons so much!

"Newtons arrived yesterday (Sat) - I went for the first run today Sunday - totally ignored advice about breaking them in with small mileage - did 10k and wow! flew round, first 5k just warming up and the last 5k was the fastest this year, with little leg effort. The shoes are amazing, light and really help get you running on the forefoot, no problems with fit - took the shoe sock out and stuck me orthotics in.  I'm a total Newton convert.

"I have just received my Newton trainers this morning, (this was a nice surprise because I had not checked my emails for a week and didn't know they were coming!) I have just taken them for a short test run (3 miles) and they feel great  (the fit is perfect). "I just got delivery today and I was out immediately at lunchtime in them – I could hardly wait.  Anyway, at first it felt like I was running with a sock that had fallen down and scrunched up under my mid foot.  However, that soon wore off and I took to them like a duck to water probably because this has always been my style, but now I have the support I needed.  I normally do about 12k at lunchtime and I probably shaved a minute or two off, but that could have been because I was trying and not running with anyone else.

I am off for my second run of the day now… and really looking forward to it.  It has caused quite a stir in my office as they are all laughing about the garish colours.  I don’t think my Sauconys will get much of an airing now. 

I would definitely like another pair so please can you let me know when you get them in stock.
